About Us
Building enduring businesses that strengthen communities.
Mission Harbor Partners was created around a simple belief: some businesses are worth preserving and building for the long term.
Our Story
Healthcare and human services are fundamentally local businesses. The strongest organizations are often built by entrepreneurs who understand their communities, develop trusted relationships and create cultures centered around serving others.
As these businesses grow or their founders begin thinking about succession, they often face an important decision: who should lead the organization through its next chapter?
Mission Harbor Partners seeks to provide an alternative to the traditional acquisition model. We combine long-term capital and experienced operating leadership with a commitment to preserving the local relationships, people and mission that made an organization successful.
We believe growth and mission can reinforce one another. A stronger organization can invest more in its employees, expand services, reach more people and create greater opportunities for the communities it serves.
Our Values
What we believe.
Mission Matters
We believe businesses can create strong financial results while making a meaningful difference in people's lives. In healthcare and human services, organizations that consistently provide high-quality care, support their employees and earn the trust of their communities are often best positioned for sustainable long-term growth.
People Matter
Healthcare and human services are people businesses. Employees, caregivers, clinicians and local leaders are the foundation of the organizations we partner with. We believe growth should create opportunities for those people rather than diminish their importance.
Communities Matter
The organizations we seek to partner with often have relationships that have taken decades to build. Those relationships matter. We want our companies to remain connected to the communities they serve even as they gain the resources and capabilities of a larger organization.
Stewardship Matters
We understand the responsibility that comes with acquiring a founder-owned business. We view ourselves as stewards of what has already been built and partners in creating what comes next.
Performance Matters
Mission and performance go hand in hand. Strong organizations need financial discipline, operational excellence and accountability in order to invest in their people, expand their services and fulfill their missions over the long term.

Nick Sulaiman is a healthcare executive with more than 20 years of experience building, growing and leading healthcare services organizations. Throughout his career, Nick has been particularly drawn to mission-driven, community-based organizations that provide important services to patients, individuals and families.
He has served in CEO, President, COO and CFO roles across behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, ABA, dermatology, aesthetics and other healthcare services. His experience ranges from working with community-based operations to helping build and lead large, multi-state healthcare organizations.
Most recently, Nick served as President & Chief Operating Officer of Crossroads Treatment Centers, a multi-state substance use disorder treatment organization with more than 100 locations. Prior to Crossroads, he served as CEO of Skin & Aesthetic Centers, a 75-clinic dermatology and aesthetics organization. Earlier in his career, Nick spent many years with RHA Health Services, ultimately serving as President and CFO, where he helped grow a multi-state organization providing behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disability, and other community-based services.
Over the course of his career, Nick has led more than 50 acquisitions representing over $400 million of acquired revenue. That experience has given him a deep appreciation for what business owners have built and for the responsibility that comes with becoming the next owner of a community-based organization.
For Nick, an acquisition is not simply a financial transaction. A company can represent decades of an owner's life, the livelihood of its employees, relationships with generations of families, and a reputation built within a community. Mission Harbor Partners was created to build upon those legacies.
